This position will assist loan officers to expedite the mortgage loan process with a variety of tasks associated with preparing loan files and providing exceptionally accurate
submission packages to underwriting.

Job Duties:

• Review loan application packages for completeness and accuracy
• Verify completeness of application information / documentation
• Examine documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with existing underwriting guidelines
• Contact customers for missing documentation, ordering necessary documentation through third party vendors and submitting processed loans to Underwriting
• Contact internal or external customers to procure additional information required to complete files
• Track files referred to Underwriters for review
• Enter loan status updates on system

Requirements:

• High School Diploma +
• 3yrs + experience as a mortgage loan processor or mortgage loan originator
• Must have experience using Calyx Point software
• Must have experience using Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter (DU)
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Keep updated list of files with current statuses for Loan officers
• Assist in meeting turn-times and close of escrow dates
• Order necessary documentation through third party vendors as requested by processor

Requirements:

• High School Diploma +
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• 2yrs + experience in the mortgage industry
• Experience using Calyx Point software
• Experience using Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter (DU)

Job Duties:

• Validate the accuracy of all calculations and update data in LOS to ensure data integrity in the AUS response.
• Evaluate the credit package to ensure an investment quality loan product. Analyze borrower’s credit capacity through in-depth review of income and asset documentation, including self-employed borrower income calculations. Calculate housing and debt ratios measuring applicant liquidity, asset concentrations and leverage.
• Review appraisal to ensure adequate collateral for the transaction and completed in accordance with FNMA, FHLMC, HUD, VA or USDA regulations.
• Review and approve third party reports/documents, including purchase contract/addendums, title report, escrow instructions, environmental report, and other legal documentation.
• Work with team members (Processors, Closers and Loan Officers) to identify potential solutions/alternatives for difficult/denied loan files.
• Ensure timely escalation to underwriting manager for review of any/all loan level challenges. Maintain current knowledge of secondary market guidelines, communicates with investors and government agencies.
• Manage a daily pipeline and ensure service expectations and company mandated turn times are met.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma +
• DE / HUD Underwriter – Required
• 2yrs + experience as a mortgage underwriter
• Must be familiar with Government and/or Conventional Guidelines
• Must have experience using Calyx Point software
• Must have experience using Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter (DU) ability to work in fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties:

• Review and closing of first mortgage transactions. (FHA, VA, Conventional)
• Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify completeness of application information / documentation.
• Review and clear applicable PTF conditions.
• Review, analyze and make required updates via CofC CD and/or Post Consummation CDs
• Balance funding figures with escrow/title
• Order wires

Requirements:

• 2yrs + experience as a mortgage loan closer
• Must be familiar with underwriting and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
